Ten years ago, I:
1. Was actually still in High school
2. Was on work experience at RAF Woodvale in Air Traffic Control
3. Had no friends to speak off. The perils of being the outsider I was.
Five years ago, I:
1. Was in Inverness onboard the Scot Pioneer.
2. Was hating having to work with the foreign crews we had, and then realised that Scots Islanders are much worse as you can hear them try to insult you.
3. was fighting the start of a serious depression wave with little to no support
One year ago, I:
1. Had just quit my temp job at 3663, hoping that the new job would lead to a better career. (Famous last words on that one I guess)
2. Actually starting out on a rough patch again as far as work and life was concerned
3. In a relationship that actually reminded me that I might actually be able to care for someone as a partner again, something I'd not done really since James and Rabbit...
So far this year, I:
1. Started my years contract at NHS payroll. Prospects look good for a permanent job.
2. Have had possibly the best year in a very long time, thanks to the friends I have now.
3. Spent more on Graphic novels than any other year previously.
Yesterday, I:
1.Went back to work after Maelstrom.
2. Was hideously distracted at a time I need to be concentrating on work
3. Did not touch a drop of alcohol for the first time in 6 days.
Today, I:
1. Got back on the net at home for the first time in 3 weeks. (219 emails...)
2. Drank half a bottle of Rose. MIss Bacon accepted the other half
3. Realised I need to tidy my room a bit.
Tomorrow, I:
1. Have half a day off work due to accumulated Flexi time on Week 4 of 4.
2. Drive to the Uxbridge area to assist Miss Davies in moving stuff. Driving through the night. (Tara: Will be doing the garage trick, but not until Sat morning. will be in touch.)
3. Drive until I'm dead.
In one year, I will:
1. be a lot more stable finacially, emotionally, and everyway.
2. Be just as happy with
b_silver as I am now
3. Still be an outrageous flirt with the majority of relatively cute people I meet
In five years, I will hopefully:
1. Still be here. (I'm not precognitve. I can;t tell what's gonna happen to me tomorrow.)
2. Be living with the Lady I love
3. Have not plans to change the good things that I have.
